This sort of revelation is really heart breaking for me. So I would be disturbed but since I am a realistic person i can't prolong such pains. I would rather forgive her.

if you love him/her and you believe that he/she loves you too, i think you should give another chance to your relationship!

It's really hard to take... but if you love him/her, it's worth the risk...

You got many solutions/options here:

1- Dumb him/her.
2- Get over it and life goes on ... (pretend like it never took place, that if you are not that nervous type - which I highly doubt here lol).
3- Let him/her pay the price ... get another partner and revenge.
4- Forgive and forget - that there must be a reconciliation and a promise adhered by to never go back to this.
5- Quit falling in love again and enjoy the solo status.

Well, Love and sex are two sides of the one coin. But how sincere you are is determined if you sacrificed sex for the sake of your love which will make you a hero but if you chosen sex over the conquer of love at the end; 'Mean' is the only adjective that will haunt you till eternity. What I mean here is not separating them apart - it is how they keep attached together in harmony- not the vice versa.

Again ... the matured balanced mingle between both that is 'Sex and Love' is the one beautiful mix ever made since Adam got introduced to Eve.
