THE BIRTH OF A POET

Born from pain and feelings of hurt
of a life that was not worth living
and a love that was not given.

born of suffering of peoples hearts
and agonies of children's tears
of a world that did not seem to care
and hope that was not there.

born from a tear and a heart
as feelings gave birth to tears
and tears awoke the soul to see
the heart it had felt for thee.

born of a time that God had planned
to let me see the right of way
that I may know not all is bad.

share the love that I may have.

born of a need to know myself
share what I've have come to know
that I may see your heart aglow.

with it all the things you feel
even if its pain and tears.

for this is what a Poet does
awakes your heart and soul to see
you are here indeed.

to feel all the pain and love
is to awaken the heart in you
maybe The Birth of a Poet too.

My Quill is dying

My Blotter’s wet

My Tears are falling

My words regret

My Heart is hurting

My Feeling jest

My Soul is searching

For Eternal rest.

My Quill has spoken

These immortal words

The strokes

I have written

Will be the last words

My Quill is gone

Though I rest

I still think,

of the Poet’s Quest.

To find the words

That make us best.

God
is my companion

Loneliness
is my company

Sorrow
is my tears

Care
is my heart

Hope
is my way
to dream

Time
is my hour,
all came to me

Soul
is my being,
looking to see

Darkness
is pity
trying
to cover me

God
was there
to let me know

I am here
to write these words

Knowing
I am loved by He.

So peaceful and serene

Where God I feel
So comforting to me

I think about; what I can give you
words I only have

I can write in gold or sliver
I'll write with love instead

found treasures beyond compare

I cannot stop for People,
Who do not want to hear

I still must go on,
For God is Here to Hear

These words I write,
Are not for One to feel

They are for All who care,
If People do not want to Hear.

God is there
to listen to Me

Hope is My way
to get through it

Love will show itself
to Me

Faith is what I need
to Believe

When all comes down to it

My Poem
is My Words To God

I Say To Him That He is Loved

I say To You ,
My Poem
is My Gift of Love.

A THOUGHT!

If I am the only One
who walks the Path

I still need to find its end

If I am the only One
who hears the words

I still must listen to it all

For it will echo back again

If I am to be Myself,
I must do what God has said

If I am to do the Best,
I must take the course He Set

I Thank God

May not find a place

Yet my thoughts,

If you find
one little care

If you feel a tear
you will know
God is near

If I touched

Love was there

If you read my words

Peace comes
not by War,
but a Heart
Close to God

It is not easy
going the right way
I have tried the other,
Found
I was going no where

The day is longer
When you have no direction

It is not any shorter
When you are trying
To find the right way

I know where I am Today
and hope
To be Tomorrow

I cannot prove God,
I am not even sure
I am good

Yet this is no reason
not to try
It is better to try
Let God decide
Whose is good

Those who believe
He is not
There is a chance
you will believe

For if He
is not Here
believe
you are not too.
