I fancy reading some good online short stories, fiction or sci-fi, to pass the time at work.
Can any suggest some good short stories?

I always try and find some good stories online. I compile short story anthologies for a publishers in the UK, and I always want to see those authors rising to recognition befroe they get there, or as is sadly often the case - never get there.
Check out some of these sites, because among alot of the drivelling stuff they seem to choose for publication there are some incredibly good stories.
My top 3 for this week:
(Chris Vaughan's Notes on a New Financial Year) is in the Short Story Library online.
A great story. Incidentally he has a story up at thedrillpress (found after googling him), also superb.
On J Tylers site (Molly Gaudry's The dead cells of the day) really good.
Alexander Kluge's 4 stories on Fence are also v good.
Hope you enjoy these and take the effort to dreg up those sites which deserve so much more attention.
Thanks,
Bradon
