I'm trying to figure out if, in Lady Windermere's Fan, Lady Windermere still has her fan at the top of Act III when she's at Lord Darlington's rooms waiting for him.

Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give.

I think she does.

At the very end of the Third Act:

MRS. ERLYNNE. I am afraid I took your wife's fan in mistake for my own, when I was leaving your house to-night. I am so sorry. [Takes fan from him. LORD WINDERMERE looks at her in contempt. LORD DARLINGTON in mingled astonishment and anger. LORD AUGUSTUS turns away. The other men smile at each other.]

I can’t make out exactly when she does it, though.

anyway, wilde's "portrait of dorian gray" and "the ballad of reading gaol" are "wonderful".

look a piece from the ballad :

Hes absolutly incredible. i did importance last year an just laughed the whole way through. so i chose picture of ... this year. I've jsu finished it.
i love the way he takes the mic out of the society and literary convention that he himself uses and is part of. pure genius. and its really intriguing in that you cann find so much of the charcter and personality he was described of having himslef through his writing.
also the way he blatently plugs the asthetic movement (art for arts sake) in his novel/ plays is hilarious. i could'nt imagine that n modern times, the critics would pounce upon it
