"An eye for an eye, makes the world go blind."
Is all over the place attributed to Gandhi, with never a source. I actually have my doubts that he ever said it.
By the way, an easy way to remember how to spell "Gandhi" is to think of "say 'hi' to Gandhi" whenever you need to spell it. A friend of mine from India turned me on to that one, because I always spelled it wrong.

This quote appears in the movie The Life of David Gale which IMO was an excellent movie. The quote, according to the movie, was "An eye for an eye leaves us all blind." Not sure on a source, but I believe that is the quote that was given in the movie, perhaps doing a search of the movie will yield a source for the quote? Not likely, but possible...

Hope this helps,

Jeff Hinchliffe
