It's from Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, I.ii.63-66. King Polixenes of Bohemia tells the Sicilian queen, Hermione, how wonderful his childhood was with King Leontes of Sicilia, her husband.

To me it just looks like its saying (to put it simply) "we were two boys that thought tomorrow would be the same as today & nothing will ever change" & that 'we will forever stay boys (children).
basically saying that they thought that the ease of childhood will stay forever and nothing will change tomorrow.
