Dang-!! War seems to be so topical this afternoon (leading as it will to endless night), but I've hit a dead wall at Quotations Page.
After reading the following quotation, I clicked on"War" -- as iinstructed.
"Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events."
Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965)
- More quotations on: [War]
Alas, all I got was genteel acknowledgement of a failed link and a request to notify the hidden bosses (which I've done).
The reason for sharing it, too, with y'all is that WE'RE GONNA NEED QUOTATIONS FROM THAT BARREL, starting real soon, I fear. GiddyYup-!!

my quote that i made up from war is a spin off of the tao de ching. It goes:
War just means that we're to stupid to find an answer to the deeper problem
