All,
I believe the quote is pretty much what the one below says -
"There are two ways to study butterflies. Chase them with nets and inspect their dead bodies.. or sit quietly in a garden, and watch them dance amongst the flowers".
The closest explaination I believe indeed is what joan_of_arc_friend wrote -
It may have something to do with the difference between the analytical mind which tries to understand everything and the artistic mind which enjoys things..
