There's a line in the movie that says something about why he doesn't read his own writings aloud. I really would love to have that quote. Thank you in advance for anyone who can help me

I'm sorry I can't help anymore, I haven't seen the movie in a very long time, not since the last time it was on HBO, but the thought behind that line came to me and I'm trying to figure it out.

I did a few searches and came up with nothing. Some related quotes, though:
"Write the first draft with passion and the second with intelligence."
-- Sean Connery in the movie Finding Forrester
"The quickest way to a woman's heart is with an unexpected gift at an unexpected time."
-- Finding Forrester
"Writers would be warm, loyal, and otherwise terrific people--if only they'd stop writing."
--Laura Miller, from a salon.com review of the movie Finding Forrester

Well, I'm up to this scene in the movie and this is what is said (the wording is pretty darn close to exact)
Jamal: They're making us enter some kinda writing contest at school. You ever enter one of those?
William: yeah, once.
Jamal: did you win?
William: of course
Jamal: what? money or something?
William: the Pulitzer.
Jamal: They make all the students get up and read in front of the class.
Forrester: What the hell does that got to do with writing? Writers write so that readers can read. Let someone else read it.
Jamal: Ever read your own book?
Forrester: In public? Hell no. Barely even read it in private. Ever wonder why writers do that coffee shop reading sh*t? So they can get laid!

Request for board.
Can someone who own the movie post the text to Wallace's final letter which Forrester read out loud at the writing contest.
It started out something like: "Losing family obliges us to seek out new family....."
Much obliged.
