Perhaps everyone can offer a quotation as a Christmas wish. Here's one from me:

"All we are saying is give peace a chance."--John Lennon

Peace be with all of you.

I have many "favorite" quotations from the Bible, and this happens to be one of them:

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
~Bible (KJV), Luke 2: vs. 10-14

Happy, and safe, Holidays to you Luna, and to anyone that sees this, Merry Christmas!

"Each of us must make the world what we want it to be."

The Christmas quote that always comes to my mind is:

"It's better to have gifts than receipts."
-- Tommy Smothers

As an apology for that, here are a few links to more appropriate subjects:

I loved all of the quotations you linked to, mgm -- they were excellent meditations for Christmas Day. And, thenostromo, thanks for the beautiful, old-fashioned Santa picture. I love that quotation "Each of us must make the world what we want it to be" -- where is that from?

Hope you both and all the forum regulars and members had a wonderful, peaceful Christmas, and best wishes for the coming year.

I had found that as

"Each of us must make the world what we want it to be."
