Be careful making generalizations like that; by putting men into stereotypes, you're probbly doing some of the same things they did when they hurt you, but I do understand your need for comfort, because some guys really do just flat out suck.

Anyway, I loved Herman Simancas' comment "Too bad this world still has old ideas lourking, AKA conservatives, right-winged people, etc."...that right-winged comment was awesome!

Reading what all of you have written on this page has made me laugh histarically, but being new here, I had to drop in some of my wisdom on men. Well someone else's wisdom that is.

1. Men are liars. We'll lie about lying if we have to. I'm an algebra liar. I figure two good lies make a positive.

we can all agree that a few bad guys have put a bad title on the rest of us, and that you can all (mostly) agree that men are pigs. Thank you for the nice compliments, but I believe that it would be in everyone's best interest to steer this forum away from man-bashing. Thanks

I am sorry to hear about your boyfriend. I hope you dumped him. Some people stay together after an incident, which is a bad move. I hope you have better luck in finding a man who is better to you than he was.

Nothing against you, 747, I just want to say that not in all cases MEN are the one who are bad when comes to cheating. You know... sometimes, (from my own experience too), man thinks that he could have better girl than he has.. maybe let's say she's bad, you know. So he finds the other girl and he doesn't have a courage to tell the old one to go away you know... but that's just one case, I'm not telling you that this MUST be your case, I'm just telling that cheating may not be so bad sometimes.
