hi, i'm looking for the rest of the quote that ends "...and then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was greater than the risk it took to blossom." it's anais nin, but i can't find the beginning of this quote anywhere. thanks so much for any help!

What you quoted appears to be the whole quote. I found some variations in wording on the net, but you have it correct. One variation: Then the time came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
