These quotations are from the famous German Otto Van Bismark.

The great questions of the day will not be decided by speeches or votes of the majority--that was the error of 1848 and 1849--but rather by iron and blood."

"A government must not waiver once it has chosen its course. It must not look to the left or right, but go forward."

"He who is not a socialist at 19 has no heart. He who is still a socialist at 30 has no brain

I have had seven all together to interpret and explain their meaning, however these three have me stomp.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Description of socialism from Wiki.
Quote:
Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating public or state ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equality for all individuals, with a fair or egalitarian method of compensation.[

When you are young such an ideal seems good, right and achievable. By the time you reach thirty you have become disillusioned and realise that the nature of man means such an ideal cannot work, as there will always be "bosses" or someone in control.

The first one says that the result of the nature of humans action or the expression and outcome of one's character says it all without a word being spoken or a speech being made. The second one says that as long as the correct concept and right decision is made there is no need to reason, worry or waiver and change your mind and action nor look left or right. The third one says that you should have a ambition and perception of your goings in life at a young age and as long as you reach thirty and those things are not yet discovered, it shows that you are a shallow thinking character.
