As a die hard fan of Jane Austen, especially of Pride and Prejudice as I look through quotes, old and new, the new ones don't seem as real? or wise, in some instances. I think a true quote is more than just something person said. It is one that can stand the test of time, one that will always be remembered and related to the person who said or wrote it. So, I guess that would mean that to actually be considered a "quote" it would need to be passed down through generations and have an effect on people. I guess a truly good quote needs to earn its authenicy, or maybe I'm just talking rubbish

haha
