Now a days we have things like, stop yapping and bring it on.
Have we become so dim that we can't put two words together. Or is it just that Twain's quote became a day to day expression and now has gone through some major alterations to make it easy for us to understand.

It's all relative, who's to say in x-amount of years, our children might be commenting this forum complaining about how ours was the golden age of quotes and it had passed?
I do agree that the articulation of speech and words has become lost somewhere between television and the internet and texting
but I suppose as long as literature prevails, we will be able to find great minds and of course, great quotations.
