Im new to this site and not sure how this all works but, this seemed to be a good place to start.
Life is a very broad and open subjct, however, would you agree that being yourself and being happy with who you are is the way to live a life with no regrets? :?:

Hmm... In life you're bound to have regrets so i don't agree... Its impossible to live a life without regrets unless you really don't feel anything at all

I believe regret shows meaning in the decisions we make. Eventhough most of them aren't "good" decisions, they still impact our lives nonetheless.

Being yourself is indeed an ideal way of living, but often times we tend put on masks even when it isn't halloween. (Metephor)

Oh and welcome to the board Raine, I hope to see more posts from you. :P

Thanks for the input! You have great veiws on regreting decisions in life. :)
Life is a game or a gamble and making mistakes as well as addmitting to them is sometimes the hardest thing to do. Everyone makes mistakes and deals with them in their own way. But isnt it the mistakes and things we choose to do in the past that get us to great places in the future?

This was just a random thought i just had so i put it down! its great to get feedback or just hear other random thoughts that are out there! Thanks!

I think people have the concept of regrets all wrong
it is not in wanting to change the mistakes that we have already made
it is wanting to be able to change due to the mistakes we make
and wishing that we had been able to learn that lesson in an easier fashion.

I agree to the extent that living as anything but yourself, mistakes included, would leave you with more regrets and discontent. It's a nice quote :)
