I should have "opined" on this one.
That is why I was careful to say it is "widely attributed."
I could never pick a "favorite" author. But, when it comes to the "most brilliant" authors, Asimov is always at the top of my list.
I find it very difficult to believe that Asimov ever said this. Or, if he did, he was kidding around, and it would most likely have been taken out of context.
