Does anyone know who said this?

Ignorance is rejecting something you know nothing about?

Any help would be wonderful!

I only see it on the internet in personal quote collections or "favorite quote" on personal webpages (and not many) unattributed or "anonymous."
I'm rather shocked to see that no one has given it the obligatory Twain/Lincoln/Shaw/Churchill/Wilde/Rogers attribution yet.

Another one-post wonder? I am amazed at how people will request information and then neglect to offer as much as a single word in gratitude.

Often times I get a "private message" expressing gratitude.
