I'm trying to find the origin of this quote. I recently found it 'again' on a quote web site and it was attributed to E.M.Forster, but I don't recall that as being the original author. Any help is appreciated.

"We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."

Here's my two cents: in a google search, more sites attribute this to Joseph Campbell, and it does sound more like him.
