Hi I am a newbie here, looking for help finding a quote, I can't remember who said it , that is why I am here. Hey well here is what I remember, ( I am paraphrasing of course, best I can remember).
"Give the people sports and entertainment, and we shall rule them with an iron fist"
That is the best I can remember, I searched and searched all the quotation websites like here and the others, but to no avail. I looked up all the 'tyrant' quotes and 'Roman Leader' quotes. Nothing even similar.
Well any help here would be appreciated. Hey and thanks in advance for this interesting forum.
