Hi,
I am a Churchill fan and I want to know at what occasion and when Churchill made this statement:

"It is no use saying "we are doing our best." You have to succeed in doing what is necessary."

Does anyone know this? Please help

It’s not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what’s required.~W. Churchill. I couldn't find a source even on this site:
http://www.winstonchurchill.org/

Perhaps if you contact them they can reference it unless it was an off-the-cuff remark.
