This is part of a short essay, no more than a page long about being economical in purchases. Does anyone have the full page, or can anyone tell me where to find it?

The quote is disputed. According to Ruskin scholar George P. Landow, there is no evidence that this quotation or its variants can be found in any of Ruskin's works.

Thank you. I don't dispute that it's autenticity is in question, but the whole piece is very clever.
