When you stand on the edge of all that you know
And stare out in to the darkness
Providence decrees that one of two things will happen
Either a path will be provided for you to stand on
Or you will learn how to fly

I wish I had. No. Am looking for the person who wrote it. I believe I have found out. Am atributing it to poet, Patrick Overton
If you can confirm this, would be great. Want to honor the author.

Faith
When you walk to the edge of all the light you have
and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown,
you must believe that one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid for you to stand upon,
or, you will be taught how to fly
© Patrick Overton, from his poetry collection:
The Leaning Tree, 1975
Rebuilding the Front Porch of America, 1997
