I can't remember for the life of me how this quotation goes and who said it. It goes something like: "Man is not the master of his own destiny, but a pawn of fate." or something along those lines. Can anyone help?

I like this quote one of my favorite. I'll just bump this thread hoping someone knows who made this quote.

Many philosophers write the reasonings on a life. I suggest you to address in library for such information.

Hello,
Nice quotations i like it. But don't know who said this. I like one on them is:
"A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him.- David Brinkley "
Regards,
Olivia
