I recently came upon this quote but no author was mentioned.

I See light; hope.
I feel a breeze; Strength.
I hear a song; Relief.
Let them through for they are the welcome ones.

It is an Ivan Rogers quote. Ivan also wrote the verse inscribed on the front of the monument which comes from his book entitled, "My Life's Impressions" ISBN: 1-4241-8864-4. In a ceremony that took place at 10:00am ET on Friday, June 22, 2001, at Willard Park, 1900 East Washington Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
