:?: Does anyone know who said/wrote, "If wishes were fishes, then no man would starve."? Also, is there more to this? Thanks! :)

I found this little anonymous poem:

If wishes were fishes no one would starve.
With a rusty old knife anyone could carve
A life of riches without any work.
Most believe it, is why wise men smirk.
For in this world there's no free lunch
Believe it and get life's knock out punch.

Also, this saying may relate to the more common If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. This first appeared in 1628 in Proverbs in Scots.
