Can anyone identify the source of the following (I'm thinking Dorothy Parker, but cannot find it in "The Portable D.P.")

After forty [?] years on this earth
I've reached this sure conclusion:
There is no heaven like clarity,
No hell like confusion.

Any help will be appreciated!'
