I am almost positive that I first saw this quote on quotationspage, but I could be mistaken. The quote I'm looking for goes something like this:

"Do not lead your life to be rich, or be remembered. When you're dead your fame and wealth will mean nothing. Lead your life to love those around you. That's all you can do that will have a real impact"

... I'm making that up for the most part. If someone could point me to that exact quote, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

Yeah, sounds familiar, but I'm not finding one. Then the thought occurred to me that you've come up with a quotation all your own! Nicely done.

I'm still searching this site and others for the actual quote. Not that the quote matters as much as the meaning behind it, but I'd still like to find it.

Also, I am doing a bunch of really complex google searches to try to find the quote. One of the search I tried lead me to this forum thread. Oops!

I'd like to bump this (after 6 months) to see if anyone might be able to provide some new insight.

This is one of the most important quotes to me, and I somehow never wrote it down and I can't find it anywhere!
