Michael, I just visited your way-cool site figby.com because you had a link to it as a sponsor of this site. (If you've put this link out before, somehow I've missed it.) I love the layout (clean, eye-pleasing), the content is excellent (one of the best "Terms and Conditions" statements I've read), and what a great idea to post stories published in XML (a wise eye to the fast-coming future).

I'm mentioning it here on the Quotations Page in hopes others interested in computers and technology-related news will check it out, too. I generally cruise Corante.com and Netfusion daily, but really like the way you've set up your site with forum options on the individual articles.

Thanks! I haven't worked on Figby as much as I should lately, but I've had some fun with it.

I mainly created that site because I sometimes want to rant about something in the news and I need a place to post it. I also needed a way to keep track of all of the news on various sites, and I set it up so I can combine a bunch of sources into a single page. (Of course, as a side effect, other users can do that too.)

I hope to make some massive improvements to Figby in the near future.

By the way, you can get the Quotes of the Day and Motivational Quotes as part of a customized Figby.com news page. That's where I end up reading the QOTD most of the time.
