Ive been bumped of qotd ... I resubscribed but now topica tells me that I have been "disabled by the owner of this list." What is my crime and how do I rectify ?

Usually that happens because one of the QOTD emails bounced (due to a network problem, for example). I re-enabled your address - see if it works.
