Why is it that you do not except quotes from non famous people?
I would think that the idea of a quotations page is to display ideas that are intellectual and profound.
Who cares if someone famous said something if it's stupid.
If you see a submitted quote that is personal, you should give it the chance to be in your database just because it is intellectual and that others could benefit from it.
I just dont approve of you dismissing quotes just because the writer isnt world famous. You need more variety. And you need to get all the best quotes, not just the ones from famous people.
But the quote in you Signature ~ "It is as pertinent to be risky as it is impertinent to be daring" ~
It seems to me that in order to begin to qualify as " intellectual and profound” it would need to be reversed. (Or re-versed).
~ It is as pertinent to be daring, as it is impertinent to be risky ~
And don't forget "The meek shall inherit the Earth" according to some.
No disrespect meant, it is a good quote

I just came to this website for the first time and emailed them concerning the same topic. Not every writer or intellectual is going to be quoted for saying something that's worth reading. Why don't they have a page for just everyday people to post quotes?
