Okay, this just happened, mgm, and it only happened once: when I hit "post reply" to reply to thenostromo's last post in the Abe Lincoln "fool some of the people all of the time" thread, it opened into a text field of his last post -- so that I could have edited it were I a nefarious type. (Have no fear, tn.)

So there's a glitch somewhere in the software -- if I had been thinking faster, I would have gotten a screen shot to show you, and if it happens again, I will.

That's strange. Are you sure you didn't hit the 'quote' buton? (This would have copied the text, but you wouldn't be editing the real message)

If it happens again do let me know. I'll run a few tests myself.

Luna, you can edit my posts all you like. In fact, make them all
"Duh, I dunno."
That would totally crack me up.

I'm not sure that I didn't hit the quote button -- in fact, that certainly could be it. I've never used the quote button -- I usually copy and paste then use html.

The more I think about it, the more I'm sure I saw
Quote:
and
(wonder if that will activate the code?), so I think you've nailed it.

HA! It did activate the code -- at any rate, I'm pretty sure I saw the tags, so don't waste your time on the tests.

tn, I could never improve on perfection. :!:

OK, we'll assume that was it until I hear otherwise...

In the words of Gilda Radner's character, Emily Sitella (sp?):
"Never mind."
